Department of tourism was established in 2016 with the introduction of Bachelor of Tourism Studies. A six semester undergraduate programme affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. In 2017, programme renamed as Bachelor of tourism and travel management -BTTM. Department conduct various outreach programmes for the students. The department is a registered member of World Wide fund for nature (WWF), an international environmental club. Department conducts nature camps for students in association with Kerala forest department. The department has a bio diversity club, which a club under Kerala biodiversity board The department is equipped with an expert team of well qualified experienced and committed faculty members. The programme focuses on undergraduate studies that in cooperate specific jobs roles. The focuses of skill development components is to equip students with appropriate knowledge, practice and attitude to become work ready.
