The department offers Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management course, which is a three year undergraduate programme in tourism. BTTM is a three year intensive study programme that enables students to have practical and theoretical knowledge in various aspects of travel and tourism industry. BTTM course include various subjects related to airfare, travel agency, constitution, hospitality and geography. The highlights of this course are one month industrial training programme and a national tour as part of the syllabus.
On completion of the course students are able to work in travel and tourism related organizations. The course provide job opportunities for the students in travel agencies , airlines, hotels, air ticketing agencies, airports, tour operation, resorts, front offices of any organizations, event management companies etc.
After completing the course one can go for PG courses such as Master of Tourism and Travel Management, MBA in Travel and Tourism Management. For further advanced studies, one may go for PhD programmes in travel and tourism studies. There are Diploma courses in Aviation, hospitality and travel management which can be opted by the students after graduation in Tourism.
