SCHOLARSHIP POLICY AND PROCEDURES


The objective of this policy and procedure document is to provide details of how  JPM Arts And Science College manages the selection for Scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIP POLICY


  1.  Awarding scholarships is on the basis of marks at the first semester exams.
  2. The class teacher can recommended students for scholarship .
  3. The financial status, income certificate, recommendation letters of Panchayath ward members and representatives etc will be considered as a valid criteria for sanctioning freeships and scholarships to students.
  4. The sickness of parents, single parenting etc. May be considered as emergency situation to give fee concession to students.
  5. Any disciplinary action or punishment could be a valid reason for the denial of Scholarship.
  6. 60% of Marks is mandatory for the eligibility of Scholarship.
